Description of Programs
The Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy offers three new paths for students wishing to pursue a Certification in Aromatherapy. Each level of our Program is an all inclusive path towards Certification. Each level consists of an on-site/hands-on class, reading, online homework lessons, case studies, and written final exams.

3 Paths to our Aromatherapy Certification Program
Level 1 - Certified Aromatherapist – 100 hours
Level 2 - Certified Professional Aromatherapist – 150 hours
Level 3 - Certified Clinical Aromatherapist – 150 hours

These programs were designed for the essential oil enthusiast,
to explore the world of aromatherapy and its uses. A few of the
professions that may benefit include wellness advocates,
massage therapists , hospice and medical nurses, herbalists,
energy healers, chaplains, health practitioners, and more!
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Certificates of attendance are granted to all those in attendance through the Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy, Inc. ISHA is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider (Provider No. 419980-00). ISHA is approved as a provider of certifications in aromatherapy by the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). Continuing educational contact hours are based on a 60 minute hour. Breaks and meal times are excluded from this calculation.

ISHA is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
Nursing CE’s are available through Taylor College in California using the Certificate of Attendance.

Instructor Training
Our Aromatherapy Division offers an instructor program for those who desire to teach this work to others. Contact the Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy for details. There is an application process for prospective students.

403 Aromatherapy Instructor Program.
Student instructors learn curriculum for the Aromatherapy Programs. This includes leading meditations and story telling our ancient ways of using essential oils for health and wholeness; classroom management principles; energy principles; as well as the knowledge and the use of biblical and medieval essential oils and selected blends.Other topics include vibrational frequencies of essential oils, distillation process, limbic system, and beginning organic chemistry. There is an emphasis on ongoing continuing self-development and spirituality. After completing this training, there are additional student observations, co-teachings and a solo workshop to teach. Student instructors are expected to participate in a supervision program.
Tuition: $800 + monthly supervisory fees

Once the instructor has taught approximately 10 workshops, he/she can apply to be trained to teach the other certification courses. Having an active practice in energy work and aromatherapy is a requirement. All of our ISHA teachers teach for the institute and are not independent providers of this education.
