An Unexpected and a Fascinating Journey

It has been an unexpected and a fascinating journey through the Advanced Program of Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry! I started course work in the summer of 2018 and completed 105 in the fall of 2019.

And then, COVID hit, with all its concerns and unknowns. Distance healing was mentioned in earlier classes, but I was skeptical so did not offer it to the three clients I was seeing at the time.

As COVID and COVID precautions continued for longer than most of us could have imagined, the faithful, creative leadership of ISHA led by Margaret Leslie, looked at ways to offer classes through Zoom. They even offered 202 on Zoom in August 2021 and I jumped at the chance. This class turned out to be a gift from heaven for me.

I feel – everything – when I walk into a room. (I am not alone among the readers of this blog!) With this online course, however, I was not distracted with what I was feeling from other people in the room. I had the gift of focusing only on the material, on me and on the person with whom I had been paired. I was astounded at how I could feel my class partner’s energy and issues through distance healing, and was shocked at what she could feel with me across the miles.

That class was a turning point for me. I began distance healing with two of the three clients I had been seeing pre-COVID. The feedback on their experiences with distance healing was very exciting – to me and to them, and they talked about their experiences to others. Others, over the course of that year and a half that I was not seeing people in person, reached out to see if I could “see” them. My confidence grew and skepticism waned as I saw and experienced remarkable results from distance healing.

I am so grateful for ISHA, and for the gifts, the dedication, and the bold leadership of the board under Margaret Leslie’s leadership! Thank you!
